The Power of an Instrument - Bishop T.D. Jakes | The Pacemaker Series

The journey toward prosperity requires dutiful preparation. We must exercise patience so that God can ready us. What draws us to the destination won’t maintain the promise. Therefore, it behooves us to relinquish it to God. For instance, David was prepared for the fight, which brought Him to the kingdom, but it was His music that maintained the promise. When David played his music, the Spirit of the Lord dwelled in the palace. This approach is what God longs from us. God gifted us life by respiring air into our lungs, with the intention that we create an alluring melody unto Him. To this end, we should continuously play our instrument, sounding praises unto Him, for He is the giver and sustainer of all things.
