Curb | Word Entertainment artist Dan Bremnes escapes to an island getaway of his dreams on "Run Away With Me." The Canadian-born songwriter and his wife, Britt, documented their last-minute vacation to Belize in a stunning music video for the romantic track, filmed safely on a private island during the pandemic.
The award-winning singer/songwriter has circled the globe, having visited 26 countries and counting. Not even a global health crisis could stop his sense of adventure. So when quarantine sidelined travel and touring opportunities, the father of two did the only thing he knew to do. He started dreaming.
"I wrote 'Run Away With Me' at the height of the pandemic when all dreams felt cancelled," shares Bremnes, who penned the song with former Tenth Avenue North frontman Mike Donehey and Justin Amundrud. "We asked ourselves, 'Where would we go with the one we love right now?' This song is about dreaming impossible dreams in impossible times."
